Austin's charitable fund
This is a charitable fund, which has been established by the Austin family, in order to support and benefit the local community. Each year a local charity is selected by the Austin Family, as the beneficiary of the fund. The Company donates a proportion of its annual profits to the fund and any money raised during the year through events such as the Harwood Park Memorial Service and Christmas Carol Services.
A wide range of causes can benefit, with the primary focus on meeting social needs, such as:
- The welfare of disadvantaged children and families
- Providing activities and opportunities for young people
- Improving access to education,training and employment
- The quality of life of older people
Should you wish to assist us in supporting the local community in memory of your loved one, further information is available from all Austin’s funeral offices and Harwood Park Crematorium. Alternatively, you can download a donation form.
Our 2024 Supported charity is Feed Up Warm Up
Austin’s Funeral Directors is a proactive, charity-minded organisation. Each year, we link to a local charity and support their activities. For 2024, we are delighted to announce that our chosen charity is… Feed Up Warm Up.
The homeless charity provides a safe, welcoming space, one evening a week, where guests can pop by to enjoy a hot meal and a chat, hear some live music, and find practical and emotional help. They also do homeless outreach, sending teams into our community to offer direct support where it’s needed most, right across Hertfordshire.
